More About Ceci

Ceci serves as the Camp Ozark Director of Camper Care, Camp Mom Coordinator, and Editor of "Ozark Family," a publication of the Camp Ozark Foundation. She met her husband, Chris, a Camp Ozark Director, on the Camp Ozark soccer field while they were serving as college summer staff members. Theystay busy chasing their four wild Indians: Caroline, Caitie Sue, Mary Claire and Christopher.

Ceci and Chris both graduated from Texas A&M University. While at A&M, Chris served as Head Yell Leader and as a Ross Volunteer. Ceci earned All-Conference honors as a Heptathlete on the Aggie Varsity Track Team and served as President of Chi Omega sorority. Ceci first came to Camp Ozark in 1995 serving 3 years as a counselor and Top Staff member.

Chris first came to Camp Ozark as a camper in 1984 when his parents purchased the camp. He has spent a portion of his summer at Ozark each year since, serving as a camper, counselor, Top Staff member, Permanent Staff member and as of 2007, a camper parent. In 2005, after many years in commercial real estate, Chris sold his company and joined the Camp Ozark staff full-time.

Chris currently serves as an Incomparable Camp Ozark Director, and as Co-Director of the Camp Ozark Foundation. The Camp Ozark Foundation sponsors Ozark for All, a summer camp experience for inner city children, Ozone Ministries, a year round mentoring program for youth in eight cities across the southern United States, and the Ozark Missions Program.

Ceci and Chris spend their off season in Houston, Texas, where they live with their four precious children, who attend Second Baptist School.  Go Eagles!  Chris and Ceci attend Second Baptist Church where Chris serves as a Deacon and Ceci as a preschool Sunday School teacher. They spend most of their free time following their children's extra-curricular activities.

Ceci and Chris have spent five years as members of the Children's Fund, an organization that raises money for various start-up children's charities in Houston.

Ceci spends much of her time outside of Camp Ozark and her family serving as a Senior Leader with Memorial Community Bible Study.

Ceci and Chris love working at Camp Ozark and serving in this ministry. Their favorite things are the relationships they develop with the campers, camper families and staff members and the impact and influence the Camp Ozark experience has on their own children.
