For the past 25 years Sam and his wife, Susan, have owned and operated Incomparable Camp Ozark, one of the largest residential summer camps in the nation. Through this platform of influence, many opportunities have evolved to enable Sam to expand his positive influence on youth.
Sam serves as Chairman of the Camp Ozark Foundation, which sponsors, Ozark for All, a positive, summer camp experience for inner city children.
In addition, Sam is the chairman of Ozone Ministries, which provides year round mentoring for youth in 8 cities across the southern United States.
Sam is the Executive Director of Camp War Eagle, a not for profit, year round, youth development organization for underserved children; developed in cooperation with the Walton Family Foundation of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Former Board of Directors member, Sam still assists GAP Ministries, a mission organization which provides community development services to the indigent population of southwestern Mexico in the name of Christ.
Additionally, Sam is also a featured speaker for “Sex, God and Me”, a national teen abstinence program.
Sam and Susan have three children, as well as eight grandchildren.
